River Arts Resilience Project

Artworks to uplift the spirit, one year after Helene

As we approach the one year anniversary of Helene, and remember all that was lost, there is -at the same time- much to be grateful for. This new project is the vision of a local team of doctors from Digestive Health Partners of Asheville - who wanted to do something to make an impact on the continued recovery efforts of artists in our area. They invited us to bring together a group of artists, whose beautiful works have now been curated in their brand new medical facility on Sweeten Creek Rd.

It is our hope that these artworks will bring hope, joy & possibility to the people who bring them into their homes & spaces, knowing they are supporting artists from the River Arts District who lost their display spaces, studios and artworks during Hurricane Helene last Fall and are still recovering. We celebrate their resilience and are honored to participate in this project!

ALL ARTWORK SALES WILL DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE ARTISTS AS THEY CONTINUE TO REBUILD & RECOVER.

Artwork purchases can made via QR code in person OR directly via our On-line gallery. The current installation will continue at DHP through late November. Local pick-up or delivery will be arranged for each artwork.

Please reach out here with any inquiries & we will reply within 24 hours.
