Women’s Creative Retreats

at Lake Santeetlah, North Carolina

AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER IS BEGINNING!

What would it be like to nurture your creative soul in a community of other creative women, while being immersed in the elements of a beautiful lake in the mountains of western North Carolina?

Over the past three years, we have witnessed the power of coming together in a circle of creative women - for a stretch of days- in a beautiful setting, via our ArtPlay artist retreats. We have seen the magic, the connections and the support that happens, and we’ve experienced the joy being able to tend to our creative souls together in community.

I am very excited to tell you that we have decided to expand our bi-annual ArtPlay artist retreats- to bring these soul-nourishing retreats to YOU!

Playful Blooms: with Cathy Nichols: May 1-4, 2025

Re-Wilding: Women’s Artist Retreat: for Western NC Artists: May 16-19, 2025

Fall Retreat September 2025: TBA in Spring 2025

The retreats will be held at a lakefront home, with double occupancy rooms, an attached art studio for groups, and boating/swimming options on the lake, as well as nearby hiking (during some retreats) at Joyce Kilmer Old Growth Forest. Retreats will accommodate diverse preferences, offering options from all-inclusive experiences (i.e. Playful Blooms) to more minimalist, no-frills formats. There will also be special pricing - during specific retreats- for artists from Western NC areas that were impacted by Helene (i.e. the Re-Wilding Artist Retreat in May).
