Brand New! A cozy-all-day winter art workshop to warm up your weekend with the joy of creativity and community. Guest artist- Jess Stone- from Greenville SC, is coming to the new space to bring us an entirely different & beautiful art-making experience! Join us for this full Saturday of vibrant colors and yummy textures, culminating with a set of three 5×5 “sculpted/ painted” color blocks, uniquely your own!
This one day workshop will offer you a glimpse into the possibilities of building up texture with modeling paste in addition to other unique materials such as celluclay, spackle, & more. Designed to be a playful and joyful art making experience, participants are encouraged to work intuitively with the materials and experiment with the endless possibilities that this combination of media brings. From shallow, luscious mark making to deep full textures. This method of painting pushes to the boundary of sculpture while still retaining its painterly aspects.

A snack and a glass of wine will be served, and there will be a 60 minute lunch break. You may bring your own lunch (fridge & micro in kitchen), or pop over to Liberty House cafe just around the corner.
