We will also have a special lantern-making opportunity going on. Our gallery artist Liberty Hanson Wild has created a beautiful community project called Light The Night AVL, to symbolize hope, renewal and resilience. Liberty will be with us during the afternoon & will share about the Lantern Walk taking place on Winter Solstice (12/21) in the River Arts District. We cant wait to welcome you with some tea, mulled wine, hot chocolate & simple but beautiful lantern-making materials.

53 ORANGE STREET, ASHEVILLE, 28801

It is in a one story off-white brick house in the Chestnut Hill historic neighborhood (across from Asheville Yoga).

Building community has always been an important part of what we do. It weaves into every layer of how we gather- as artists & creators, and it forms the container through which we can truly support one another, in both challenging times and in celebration of each other’s becoming. Community is how we share our stories through art; how we form new connections with one another, and strengthen bonds that are already present. Though there is much to overcome in the wake of Helene, we have found- beyond the shadow of any doubt- that we can still gather in joy and in hope, and find our resilience together.
