We believe in HOPE and in the power of lifting each other up in community.

On Friday 9/27, about three fourths of the River Arts District became submerged under water, when the French Broad River and its’ tributaries spilled over into surrounding areas during Helene. Like many other spaces in district, ArtPlay was flooded and destroyed. Our hearts ache for those in our community who continue to be impacted by the devastation.

A small bit of good news is that we were able to remove 95% of the gallery art just in time, before the storm hit. We lost 100% of our art supplies, our space, and all of the furniture and contents within. Your support as we recover and rebuild our programming is greatly appreciated.
