Join us for a hands-on, participatory art session exploring the power of creative placemaking to build resilience, healing, and community connection.

This session is a practice run for an upcoming presentation at The Power of Community: South & Appalachian Creative Placemaking Conference (CPC), and your feedback will help shape the experience for a larger audience.

Using repurposed fabric, we will engage in a mindful-making process that transforms individual strands into a collective work of art. This activity is an opportunity to reflect, create, and connect—no prior experience necessary!

Your participation will contribute to the artwork and provide valuable insights to refine the workshop for its next stage. Feedback can be shared onsite or through a short online form after the session.

THIS SESSION IS DONATION-BASED- payment on site- AND WILL HELP FUND THE ARTIST’S TRAVEL COSTS TO THE CONFERENCE LOCATION.
