A creative workshop for artists of all levels! Join local artist Miranda Wildman for a playful afternoon of explorationwith abstract landscape composition. Learn how to create scenes with depth by layering with acrylic paint and learning brush techniques to add texture and detail.
You’ll be invited to explore color interactions to create a mood in your artwork and personalize your work by using image trace and transfer techniques. Miranda will provide gentle, creative guidance throughout the class, introducing you to working with acrylic paints on wood painting panels, image trace & transfer supplies and a few fun mixed media embellishments such as silver leaf and gold leaf.
Please bring a photograph or printed images of something that inspires you. Miranda has been using houses in her creations, but you are encouraged to choose something that calls your name!
