WaterColor Landscapes in the Sketchbook : Sunday 5/26, 2:00pm-6:00pm with local artist Harper Leich
Join local artist Harper Leich for this class, designed to inspire you to maintain a sketchbook practice of your own. Harper has designed 4 sketchbook classes - each woth it’s own focus, based on her own journey as an artist.
This class is designed to support you in getting to know your watercolor set, working in a sketchbook, and in starting a watercolor landscape of a place that is meaningful to you. Doing watercolor sketches in your sketchbook is a great way to chronicle the places you’ve been, and improve your skill before investing in expensive papers and materials. It’s an easy way to do plein-air paintings and is very portable!
The best part of a sketchbook is the feeling of play and experimentation that it can bring- there’s no place for perfection here!!
Class fee covers all materials needed, a beautiful 12-pan set of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Japanese watercolors.
No experience is needed!
A light snack & sparkling water will be served mid-way through the class.
