About Julie

Hi, I'm Julie! I am honored to be able to support you in navigating your life toward joy and wholeness. I see you as the expert on yourself, and my role is that of support person, accompanying you as you face the choices that shape the direction of your life. Through my own study and experience with art-making, I have learned that practices of self-compassion, connection with nature, mindfulness, and personal creativity help provide insight, rooted growth, and personal expression necessary for a meaningful and satisfying life.

I am an avid artist, parent, friend and life-long learner, I enjoy traveling, especially to learn from founders and other innovators in expressive arts therapy.

I’m especially passionate about helping individuals who are drawn to creativity and art-making as a resource & a nurturing practice for one’s life, but are feeling a little stuck. If you find yourself thinking or saying things like: “I’m not an artist, I don’t know where my creativity lies, I have 1000 things on my to-do list and don’t have time for creativity, then let’s talk!

I am currently available for one-on-one art-making sessions, creativity groups (5-10 people), and small art-making groups. Together, we will focus on overcoming creative barriers, finding your creative joy and favorite art media, and developing momentum for your life’s creative journey.

You will leave these sessions with greater self-awareness of your strengths, your personal creative resources, your resilience and the ways in which art is a powerful tool for self-care and for bringing imagination to life’s challenges.

I can be reached here, if you’d like to learn more about the individual or group art-making sessions I offer. I look forward to hearing from you!
