I believe that Art is that process of seeking truth through color, light and form inspired by sight, feelings, and contemplation supported by life experiences. My work reflects this belief as I explore ART through my love of nature, travels, and my need to create. As an abstract artist, I work primarily in oils, encaustics, and mixed media.

I recently returned to Weaverville where I was grew up from Wilmington, NC. While living in Wilmington for 30 years, I studied art at UNC Wilmington, taught at the Museum School at Cameron Art Museum, participated in several art organizations, and participated in region and local art exhibitions and individual shows throughout the southeastern United States. Currently, my work is shown in Gallery Citrine, Wilmington, NC; and Pink Dog Creative Studios and ArtPlay in the River Arts District of Asheville, NC.
