River Arts Resilience Project
“Bale Blithe” by Tania Dirks
ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
Artworks by River Arts District Artists ~ all impacted by Hurricane Helene Flooding
We were recently approached by the board of a local medical practice who wanted to so something to make an impact in the ongoing recovery + re-building process that artists from the River Arts District of Asheville are experiencing. They were building a new facility and wondered if bringing local artworks - for sale- into the new space could be a way to bring visibility to the artists’ stories of resilience and hope, as well as direct and immediate support for them.
This project is born as a result of the generosity and vision of this team of local doctors. Works of art by 8 local artists will soon be curated and featured inside the new facility of the medical practice- bringing hope, joy and possibility to the artists and the people who will bring the artworks into their homes and spaces. We are honored to participate in this project!
ALL ARTWORKS IN THIS PROJECT WILL ALSO BE FEATURED ~ AND AVAILABLE FOR SALE ~ HERE IN OUR ON-LINE GALLERY.
