Afternoon Art-making for Youth ~ 5 week series: Mondays beginning 9/09
A brand new 5 week series for young creatives - 0n Monday afternoons- taking place at our gallery/studio space in River Arts.
Local artist Harper Leich has designed this series for especially with young creatives in mind, to guide them in developing skills across a range of techniques & creative explorations. This will be a Sketchbook Series that includes introduction to and guidance with: watercolors, inks, pencil, pen and mixed media. Interests of the students will be incorporated so that the class is both meaningful and fun!
Materials and one make-up session (for a missed class) are included with the series. The only thing you will need to bring is your own Mixed Media Sketchbook (recommendations will be provided re: size, weight of paper & sources for purchase).
(Note: Snack & drink are welcome. We have a small fridge where cold items can be stored)
