In this class, Cathryn invites you to come play with paper and paint! Using real leaves as your inspiration and high-quality Arches watercolor paper, she will show you how to use acrylic paints to make handmade, beautiful leaf-like creations. You’ll be guided in a process of tracing, cutting and folding, as you witness the leaves will take shape. The fun continues when we get to paint them, then adding line details- watching them come to life! The beauty of the painting process is that there are no rules to what colors you use.
Cathryn will guide you in the whole process. The rule is: No Fear, Just Fun!
The finished product will work well either as bookmarks or can also serve as ornaments- making great gifts, or adding a warm holiday ambience to any space.
No experience is necessary!—just a sense of curiosity and a desire to make something by hand. All materials will be provided, along with guidance, inspiration, and time to explore at your own pace.

Materials included/ provided::
Arches watercolor paper, pencils, acrylic paint, ribbons in various textures + colors, gloves, hole punches, & containers for your finished pieces. Cathryn will also supply finishing medium to protect your leaf creations.
