Luminous Layers: Florals in Alcohol Inks, Sunday 4/19: 1:00pm-4:00pm with guest artist Kimberly Langlois

$110.00

Join us for a Sunday afternoon of community and creativity as we explore the versatile—and very fun—medium of alcohol inks!

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll discover how alcohol inks interact with one another as they bloom, expand, and flow across the surface, creating unexpected forms and organic movement. Working on black synthetic paper, we’ll experience how beautifully the inks reveal themselves in vibrant contrast against dark backgrounds.

Throughout the class, Kimberly will share techniques for creating floral/petal forms and compositions, creating soft fades, layering for richness and dimension, and adding luminous metallic accents that bring your work to life. You’ll learn how to gently guide the movement of the inks using air and simple tools, allowing the natural interplay of colors to create depth, motion, and delightful surprises along the way.

All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play!

Come create, explore, and learn with us. ✨
