If you know Colorscape artist Tania Dirks, you understand that her classes are an energetic mix of laughter and color, coupled with lots of support and guidance with new painting techniques. If you don’t know her yet, you are in for a treat!
ENJOY A SMALL VIDEO OF TANIA’S RECENT CLASS
In this workshop, Tania will offer a full day of fun color mixing strategies + technique exercises on small canvases with acrylic paint! You will learn how to gracefully blend colors or add in bold paint applications , mixing and matching with a palette knife technique + using color theory of complimenting colors. Throughout the class, you will also be guided in how to use this color creation to evoke emotion in your artwork!
All paint supplies + materials you will need are included but you are welcome to bring your favorite brushes and palette knife if you have it, Tania will let you borrow her basic tools. You can take home canvases and there will be a printed out supply list if you want to continue your cosmic color journey on your own!
You’ll have a lunch break around 12:30. There are cafes around the corner and a fridge at the studio if you prefer to bring your lunch.
This is a beginner level 2 class, which just means some prior experience with acrylics painting - one class is enough! -will be helpful- for you to get the most out of the workshop.
